Good comfor and quality for the price.

Good size room, clean. Electric socets that work Easy access to extra toiletpaper.

No fridge (but this is common in el nido). Neighbours had at least 3 rosters who will get you early up in the morning, so not as quiet as I like it. Had some issues with the toilet, where it would not flush. But I just had to repeat a few times before it did.

Great Value, Location and hospitality.

Owner and Wife are beyond welcoming! Treat you like Family! I needed hot water for my French Press Coffee and they delivered Thermos every morning to my door. They booked travel and tours easily for me. Location is close to beach and central. Great Value for the money! Great food in Indian restaurant downstairs...always crowded is good sign.

Hotel Ashoka is very close to all amenities, and a very comfortable hotel.

A large and comfortable bedroom with good a/c and internet. The bathroom was large, but the shower cold. The hotel is very close to the beach and restaurants and the staff very nice and helpful.

Good for short stay

Good for short stay. Very simple but clean room. Just stayed for one night. owner is very friendly and has a restaurant at the basement. Late Check-In was no problem. Also booked a tour via this hotel.

Quite noisy which is normal for the city.

Lovely family and amazing hotel

The owner is so lovely! We arrived really early from the airport (7:30am)and he let us use the showers and keep our bags there before our room was ready! (2pm) He also helped organise island hopping for us while we showered and changed! Room was clean and bed very comfy Good air conditioning The shower also had hot water! Convenient location to get to restaurants and island hopping tours. Food at the restaurant is also fresh and very tasty! Would 100% recommend staying here and would stay here again

First night could hear dogs barking outside at night, was very loud... The room is quite warm without aircon, it takes a few hours to cool down. No blankets were provided

lovely spot in the middle of town

The owners are so helpful and friendly- probably one of the nicest places I’ve stayed while in the Philippines. The room was cozy and decently quite considering the location. Also there is hot water!!

Comfortable accommodation in the centre of town

Really friendly and helpful owners, they allowed us to leave our main bags with them while we did a 3 day boat trip to Coron. Room was amazingly quiet considering you're in the middle of town! Good aircon. We stayed here before and after our boat trip and would stay again.

The bathrooms need updating - shower heads were old and leaking out of the hose fitting which made the water pressure poor. Hot water was intermittent. Water pressure in the sink tap was also poor and virtually unusable. Beds were too firm for our preference.

Superb

The hotel is probably the best value for money in El Nido. The room is clean and spacious. If you want to live in El Nido center, this is the place for you, all restaurants and bars are right next door, but the Ashoka Hotel is on a quiet (but safe) side street. Special mention should be made of the incredibly friendly and helpful owners, who are always ready to help (even at 5 a.m.!).

When you turn on the shower, it smells like rotten eggs for the first 2 minutes. I don't know if this is typical for El Nido (they always warn you about the tap water in town, don't brush your teeth with it!), but if you're not prepared for it, it's very frightening.

Superb

Great place to stay, worth it's price. Clean, aircon and HOT water, no bugs (totally zero). Wifi working (what is rare at Philippines) Owner and his family are helpful, friendly and welcoming. Hotel got his own electricity generator. Downstair great Indian cousin, but price are European.

Water pressure in the shower isn't strong enough. Still warm water at any time available.

Very good

Good location, around the corner from many restaurants but on a quiet street (can still hear some barking dogs at nights as everywhere, but not much other noice). Large room with modern and quiet AC. Comfortable bed, a table to put and some hangers for all the stuff. The owners were very nice and helpful.

Bathroom was a bit old, the toilet flushing didn't work that well. The stairs up to the rooms are very steep, was fine for us but good to know if you have a problem with that.

Good value for money.

Owners were so nice and kind. They have an Indian restaurant at the hotel lobi which was amazing. Excellent location, right in the center but not noisy. Room was very spacious. We had hot water which is not something you get in el nido . Free wifi.

The water pressure in the shower was weak, but I heard all el nido is like that.
